People still search for X creator revenue sharing. X stopped taking new enrollments on August 7, 2026. The program that pays now is Original Content Rewards, and the bar is higher than a checkmark.
Revenue sharing has closed
Starting August 7, 2026, X no longer accepts new enrollments into Creator Revenue Sharing. People already in it kept earning through September 7, 2026. From September 8, X started letting those members apply to Original Content Rewards, if they meet the new rules.
If monetization on an account is paused for a past policy violation, X says that account cannot enroll in the new program for now. Meeting the numbers does not mean you are in. X reviews an application. You get one appeal. If that fails, you can reapply after 42 days.
What X requires before you apply
You have to be 18 or older and in a country where the program is offered. The country list is on X's help page. The account has to be a personal or business account in good standing. Political and government organization accounts are not eligible.
You need an active X Premium, Premium+, or Premium Business subscription. You need at least 500 verified followers. You need at least 500,000 Home Timeline impressions from verified users in the last 90 days. Impressions on replies are excluded. And you have to be posting original content, by X's definition.
Which impressions count
A qualified impression is a unique view from a Premium user on the Home Timeline, with at least half the post visible. X counts subscribers to Premium Basic, Premium, Premium+, and Premium Business as those viewers. The same account is not counted twice on one post.
Paid, promoted, artificially generated, and fraudulent impressions are out. So a view count on the post is a weak stand-in for what pays. Replies do not help the 500,000. The impressions have to be on your own posts, in the home feed, from verified people.
What they will not pay you for
Original content means you wrote it, filmed it, designed it, or produced it. Commentary counts when you add your own perspective. A copy, a light edit, a compilation of other people's posts, or a clip from another platform that you did not make does not.
X also refuses content that was created or posted by automation, content with a helpful Community Note, and posts that are only about how to maximize the payout. After you are in, you have to stay on Premium, Premium+, or Premium Business, and you cannot use tools or bots to manufacture likes, follows, views, comments, or shares.
You also cannot solicit engagement: repeatedly telling people to like, reply, bookmark, follow, or repost. Payouts run every two weeks, with a $30 minimum. In the U.S. they go through X Money. Elsewhere, X uses Stripe and an identity check. The help page is the list to trust if those details move.
The part that is actually growth
Two of the bars are an audience problem. Five hundred verified followers means followers X counts as verified, not a bought number and not a free account that followed you back from an exchange. Five hundred thousand home-feed impressions in 90 days means verified people saw your original posts. A reply habit can get you seen while you are small. It does not, by itself, fill the impression requirement.
XPacts is for the follower bar. The room is public Premium accounts in your niche, at your follower count or smaller. You follow on X yourself. We check that it happened, then we check across the month so a follow that disappears is on the person who broke it. One pact is one verified follower who was supposed to stay. It is not 500 of them, and it does not create the impressions. Those still come from posts you made.
How to get the early audience is how to grow on X under 10,000 followers.
